The Performers' Henry Winkler will return for the upcoming fourth season of cult TV show Arrested Development as sleazy attorney Barry Zuckerkorn, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series has begun production on a 10 episode season that will debut on Netflix in the spring of 2013.
Arrested Development follows an extremely eccentric and wealthy family who struggles to bond together as their father (and head of their real estate development company) is arrested. The series ran for three season on FOX from 2003 to 2006 and earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. The cast featured Broadway veterans Jessica Walter and Jeffrey Tambor as well as Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat. A movie is also expected to begin production after the show's fourth season.
Winkler is best known for his role as Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli on the classic sitcom Happy Days. He has appeared on Broadway in The Dinner Party and 42 Seconds From Broadway. His other film and TV credits include Royal Pains, Up All Night, The Waterboy, Little Nicky and Click. He will return to Broadway in The Performers, which begins performances October 23 at the Longacre Theatre.
